Fairy tale

Once upon a time there was a ugly girl, called Claire, who brought brackets, square eye glasses and two plaits, but she was a very nice person.
She lived in New York with her mother, Katie. Claire didn’t know her father, because Katie didn’t want to say anything about him.

One day Claire and her mother decided go to Argentina for live there.
She went to school, and she made a lot of friends, but there was one girl, Marie, who made her the impossible life. Marie was beautiful, perfect and intelligent, but she was a bad person.
Claire always did everything that Marie said her.

Claire loved Matias, but he was Marie’s boyfriend. Marie always met with another boys, and when Matias’ friends or sister told him, he didn’t believe them. He believed Marie when she said that was a lie. Claire every day cried, because she was bad: she wanted Matias, she want was like Marie, she wanted changed, but she couldn’t, she wanted find her father…

On the other side, she was friend with her father, Leandro, but he didn’t know that she was her daughter, and she didn’t know that he was her father. Leandro always helped Claire. And Leandro and Claire’s mother also were friends.
Two months later, when Leandro, Claire, and Katie, they were had dinner, Katie told the true. Claire and Leandro didn’t believe it. And the girl was very very happy.
But in the school nothing was change. One day she found one ring of luck, that you could ask one desire, but you mustn’t said anything to anyone and when to met the desire you must keep this ring for anyone could found it. And if one day someone will found the ring, everything again be as the day she ask the desire.
Her desire was Matias love her. And one days later, he fall in love of Claire. Marie was very angry with Claire, and she went to another school for didn’t see never Matias and Claire.
All was perfect, Claire was very happy with her face because she didn’t brought “brackets”, she brought “lentilles”, and her hair was beautiful.
And finally she lived with her parents in a big house.
She was the most happy person.

Thirteen vs. Adrian Mole

I speak about the book “Adrian Mole” and the film “Thirteen”. The film and the book approximately spoke about the similar topic.
In the book, Adrian is the principal character,and in the film, Tracy is the principal character.

Adrian writes one diary that speak about his life, his problems, his parents, the girl that he fall in love, his friends… but Tracy doesn’t.
When Adrian’s parents separate he lives with his father, and when Tracy’s parents separate she lives with her mother.
When the book begin Adrian is thirteen ¾ and when it finishes he is fifteen. Tracy is thirteen during all the film.
Adrian has got problems with his parents, with one boy who want to hurt him, with his face because he has got spots, with the girl he fall in love and with his friend. Tracy has got problems with drugs, with her mother and her father, with her mother’s boyfriend, with her friends and at school.
At the beginning of the book Adrian is very sad, but there are a lot of changes during the history, because at the end of the book Adrian is happy.
At the beginning of the film, Tracy is happy,because her friends are good, but when she meets Evie, she changes radically, and at the end of the film she is very sad, but she has got her mother who helps all the time.

In the film you can see the life of one girl who is thirteen but she doesn’t seem it, she seem one girl of fifteen or sixteen years old. It’s good, but it very impact. In the book you can imagine all of things, and all of characters. The book seems more real.

I’m Anna. I live in Sant Pere Pescador. It’s a small town near Castelló d’Empúries. I’m sixteen years old. I’m in 1st Grade of Batxillerat. In my free time I love listening to music, playing computer games and going out with my friends.

Last summer, I helped my mother in the butcher’s during the month of July. I had to wake up at 9 o’clock because I started working at 10. In the afternoon I sometimes met my friends, but at half past eight in the evening I had to come back to the butcher’s because I helped my mother to clean and close the shop.
In August I helped my mother only for two weeks, because on the third week I went to Roses with my uncles and cousins. We went to the swimming pool or to the beach every day. The last week of August and the first week of Setember my uncles and my cousins from Barcelona came home and we went to the beach again.
When my family left to Barcelona, my mother, my father, my brother and me, went on holidays for five days. We went to Salou and we also spent two days in Port Aventura.

I uploud my three compositions: “email”, “thirteen vs Adrian Mole” and “fairy tale”, because I can’t decide which is the best. I think that the three compositions are good, and they are differents, because the email is about my holidays, thirteen vs Adrian Mole is a comparison, and the fairy tale is a history. If I have got more writings in my blog, in the second term I can compare with my others writings.

Critic of New Moon

NEEW MOON.

New moon, is the last film that I have seen. And is the second part of Twilight. Now that I have seen the two films, in my opinion New Moon is better.

The characters are the same: the principal characters are Bella, Edward and Jacob; the second characters are Edward’s family, Bella’s father and Jacob’s friends.

Neew Moon is about:
Edward decides to leave Bella, because he thinks that she will better if he leaves and she stay her father. But when Edward leaves, she is very bad, she cry everyday, she doesn’t eat, she doesn’t want to go at school… and every night she has got nightmares. Five or six months later, she recover a bit. Bella discovers that when she is in danger, she sees Edward and she listens his voice. And she makes different things for see and listen him.

I like this film because it’s perfect, the characters are impressionans. The film is of action. During approximately two hours. Also I read the book and I can't decide what is the best, the film or the book.

Barcelona bars hire private security guards to protect clients.

Several bars and restaurants located in tourist zones in Barcelona have begun hiring private security guards to stop their clients being robbed. Especially in summer it is common for gangs of teenagers to roam the terrasses (pavement cafes) and when the clients are distracted, they steals their bags or cameras. Security firms have admitted that they have recently received many more demands for security than in previous years. The establishments interested are mainly in el Born, Rambla Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia. Another hotspot is Port Olímpic, though businesses there have security guards all year round. One of the measures security firs advise bar owners to undertake is to close off the area with a mobile fence so that there is on single entrance to the terrassa.

*The notice is about some restaurants and bars on Barcelona when there are a thieves who steal their clients. The security firms affirms that in the last years there were few thefts. As a result they decide to put one mobile fence for close off the area.

*Affects me postively because when I will go to these restaurants or bars, I will feel more secure because if I am sitting down in the terrassa I mustn’t to watch over my bag or my things. If they put the mobile fence the people go there much.

Anahi Giovanna

I speak about Anahi because she is my favourite singer. She sang with one group, their name was RBD, but two months ago they separated. The group were six persons and always they will be my favourite music group. Now only four of the group are singing but for separeted, and the others are acting.
She began to sing soloist since two months ago, because she began to write songs for the new cd and on 19th of November she did her first videoclip.
I believe that the cd will arrive the next week , because in America just arrive, but here always everything arrive much later.
She sing very good, her voice is beautiful. I look forward to her cd, and I hope that she will come to Barcelona for do one concert early next year, because I want to see her.
I put one vidio when she sing “Save me” because this song is the best, she wrote this song when she was been anorexic, and it is so sad. She was been anorexic for many years, and she almost died. Always when Anahi sing this song she cry and in the concerts everybody i crying. In some concerts when she sing “Save me” she dress with fairy clothing, she goes up in a high plataform, and she always say this sentence: I do believe in fairies.
There is one problem, in this vidio she sing “Save me” but not on the plataform.
Anahi often sings in spanish but this song she did it in spanish and in english. But in my opinion I like it more when she sing in spanish. Anahi you are the best.

My best friend

-I speak about Bea because she is my best friend. Her name’s Beatriz Jimenez, she is sixteen years old and she live in Empuriabrava. I have meet Bea since 1st of ESO. Before, she went to a school in Castelló d’Empúries, and I went to the school in Sant Pere Pescador. Now she goes in Figueres for do the batxillerat, and I go to Castelló d’Empúries, but almost every day we call us.

-She is high and thin. She has got brown hair and brown eyes. She has got a small mouth, and she has got “brackets”. She has got a small nose. She hasn’t got any piercing or tatoo.

-Her parents are Maria Isabel and Lute. She has got one brother, his name’s is Javier. And she has got one dog, her name’s is Chisca, and she is a “dalmata”.

-Bea is friendly, nice and smiling. Sometimes she is angry and she call me to speak with me. She often is angry with her parents, because they are very strict.

- In her free time she like drew and pinting, and she like to read too. She drew very good.

-On 25.08.08 we went to the concert togheter, because RBD is our favourite music group.

- I trust with Bea, I tell her all about my problems, and she always helps me. She is a very good person. I love you Bea:)

Self evaluation

When I was doing my oral presentation:
I spoke about Jennifer Lopez. I used a powerpoint. Approximately my presentation during five minutes. I looked my companions and my teacher but sometimes I looked my powerpoint. I tried didn't look my notes, but one or two times I looked some words. I moved my hands almost all the oral presentation. I organized all the information in order of importance, first her biography (I think that is the most important) then her husband, her discography and her filmography. I used the words like: first, secondly, then, later, after. I think that for some persons I introduced them new information, but for some persons I think that they knew all that information. I searched information in the internet in different pages and some information I already knew. (Always I buy "Cuore" and "Intouch" and on these magazines speak about famous for example about Jennifer Lopez). I think that my grammar was good, but not perfect because I had some mistakes. But my vocabulary wasn't much rich and varied. I used some sentence linker, for example: and, but, also. But I didn't use pause fillers, one or two times I said well, but no more. I didn't know how to pronunce all my words. I check some words with a dictionary. I think that I used a monotone tone all the time. I think that I spoke very fluid, because I studied my text. I believe that I got a mark of seven.

My oral presentation

Hello everybody, I'm Anna and I will talk about Jennifer Lopez. I am sure that all of you know her. I speak about her because, she is my favourite actress and singer. First I will talk about her life. Second I will talk about her cd's. And finally I will talk about her films.

-She was born on 24 July 1969 in Castle Hill, The Bronx (New York). She have got two sisters, Lynda and Leslie. Her father, David Lopez, is computer scientist, and her mother, Guadalupe, is a teacher.
When she was young, she took dance lessons in the Baruch school, she worked and she took sing lessons on the afternoon. Her mother didn’t want that she was a dancer, and her father didn’t want that she was a singer, so Jennifer decided to leave home, and went to her school for live there. After the year she find a work in a tour that she travelled until Japan.
Her favourite subject was bilogy; Her Hobbies were Dance, reading, writing, acting; Her favourite colour was purple; her favourite singer was Alanna Morissette; her favourite actor was Ben Kingsley; and her favourite tv programm was friends. Her best work was when she worked in Selena, she won a nomination for the best actress in 1998.

-Marc Anthony. He is Marc Anthony, he was born in 16 of setembre 1968 and he is a singer.
Jennifer and Marc have been married since 5 Junio 2004. They got married in Jennifer’s house in Miami. On 22 February in 2008, they had got twins, the girl is Emme and the boy is Maximilian.

-Discography. Her first cd was “on the six” on 1999. Her second cd was “J.Lo Jennifer Lopez” on 2001. Her third cd was “this is me..then” on 2002. Her fourth cd was “The Reel Me” on 2003. Her fifth cd was “Rebirth” on 2005. Her sixth cd was “Como ama una mujer” on 2007, and later “Brave” her last cd.

My favourite cd is Rebirth. These are twelve songs on the cd. But I like all the songs.

-Filmography. She has done all these films.

-In conclusion: I think that Jennifer Lopez is a good actress, and she sing very well.

"Batxillerat"

When I was doing 4th on high school, I didn’t know that I do in bachelor degree. I was very worried. My father said me what I must do, but I wasn’t secure. Every day in the school the teachers spoke about "Batxillerat". When they give me the paper for select the subjects which I wish study in "batxillerat" I marked french, economy, maths and economics and business organization. My father works in a company and when always I have a problem, he helps me.

When summer finished I was very nervous because I have to begin the "batxiller".
Today is 29 October, and I have done 1 month and 15 days of class. Now I feel better, but I am very stressed. We have got three exams for next week and much homework. The course is complicated, but if I study hard I will pass my exams. Currently I don’t fail any exam.
My favourite subject is economy and I don’t like philosophy and physical education.When I will finish the "batxillerat", I would like go to university in Barcelona.
